I currently hold the position of project manager in LOBA. I have more than 15 years of experience in managing European-funded projects in different programmes (H2020, FP7, Erasmus+) and in multidisciplinary fields such as sustainability/bioeconomy, innovation, financing, societal challenges, communication, transport, ICT, among others.
I also have competencies in developing competitive proposals for different financial instruments at European and international levels. I am specialised in communication and promotional activities, experience I gained through years of developing and implementing communication plans, communication campaigns, organising events or transfer of knowledge initiatives, promoting innovation, conducting assessment for market uptake and potential commercialisation under the frame of European projects and other activities.
Furthermore, I have been also involved in ex-post evaluation and impact assessments studies and projects for the European Commission, as well as recommendations on policy innovation. I have two degrees: one in Marketing, and another in Sociology, the former obtained at Rochester Institute of Technology, United States of America, and the latter at Universidad de Salamanca, Spain.
I am a Spanish native speaker and fluent in English and Portuguese.
