Regional Government of the Azores: Azores What’s On Platform

The answer to this challenge was Azores What’s On, a project designed to centralise content and make exploring the Azores easier, more engaging and complete.

The main objective was to create a centralised information hub, where residents and visitors could find events, cultural attractions and festivals all in one place. The platform was designed to enhance the tourism experience, offering tips and recommendations on local culture, traditions and activities, helping to plan each visit more authentically. It also has an educational dimension, providing content about the history, geography and ecology of the islands, sparking curiosity and encouraging a deeper understanding of the territory. The platform continuously evolves based on user feedback, ensuring an always current and intuitive experience.

The creation process involved defining a detailed navigation flow, which allowed ideas to be tested and refined before proceeding to design and development. The result is a platform with colourful and engaging visual components, reflecting the identity of the archipelago and inviting users to explore with a simple, straightforward and captivating interface.
