The ANDA Conhecer Portugal program offers a unique opportunity for young people who have finished secondary school - to get to know the country for free, including train travel and six nights' accommodation in Youth Hostels throughout the country.

In Portugal, several initiatives seek to encourage young people to explore their own country and discover its natural, cultural and historical wonders. Those graduating from secondary school in the 2022/2023, 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 school years have the opportunity to get to know Portugal through this program, a partnership between Movijovem, CP - Comboios de Portugal, Pousadas da Juventude and Cartão Jovem.

Developed in WordPress and with integrations of web services from all the parties involved in the project, in mainland Portugal and now in Madeira and the Azores, the ANDA Portal provides an ANDA voucher through user validation with Gov. Authentication and validation of schooling through the Ministry of Education's web services.

The partnership between Movijovem and LOBA has succeeded in bringing this project to fruition and, to date, more than 1600 vouchers and 120 youth cards have been issued.
