As a child, I knew all ads and jingles by heart. Apart from the Portuguese ones, there was a German channel that I used to catch on my satellite and whose ads I paid close attention to, so that I could compare them with what was being advertised at home. Some were similar, some were very different, and some were the same, like the one to buy the Crazy Frog polyphonic ring tone. I always thought there should be a more targeted way of advertising, so I didn't have to take that horrendous music every so often. Maybe that's why I like digital marketing so much, and why I choose to segment campaigns too much, to ensure it reaches the right target. Or maybe I'm just another victim of Crazy Frog, like a whole generation.
